Quick note to say we loved the Indoor, (didn't see many Europeans).

Thanks to all the teams we played, good hard games all of them. Our 6th Tourney and we placed 4th novice team after day 1, day 2 however and an AM division, we got slapped about a bit. (Thanks K2, i didn't even manage to break out, and good shooting, you guys even managed to shoot my foot as I flew through the air and into the dirt.) :D

Thanks to team Tango good game and can't wait to head up North again.

Dark Angels Red, thanks for the travel tips and keeping the women company.

Big up to Andy from ZAP, fields were nice and the paint was flying straight as ever.

See you all again soon! :D

I think we were in the same boat as you on Sunday (arses kicked) but it was a great experience...:(

You guys went through us like a dose of salts. certainly highlighted "break outs" as an area of our game to work on.

Forgot to say in my earlier post EXCELLENT marshalling throughout the tourney.

Only suggestion for next year is that the team tent could have allocated tables for AM and PM teams, we waited ages for a table both days. Puts extra pressure trying to kit up and find a table.

Will definitely be back next year.

It's a shame about the giant collapsable diablo and falling JT's every now and then! Although those kind of things are bound to happen sooner or later with such intense play, I have to say though that all of the bunkers were back up and running very quickly when the problems occured!

A shame that the spectators were limited in what angles they could view the games from - the diablo field was a great game to watch, but the JT field was a lot harder - you couldn't follow a firefight between two players easily on the JT field no matter what side you were on.

I have to mention that my team did encounter a couple of marshalling problems and retarded penalty points hand outs - but the marshalls can't have their eye's everywhere at once - great otherwise though!

I'll have to actually join in and play next year!:D

Marshalling was on a whole good but there were a few dodgy calls that appeared to show lack of experience. A marshal apparently called me out (I didn't hear the call and couldn't see wether the hit had broken or not as it was on the underside of the top of my arm) when I was mugged by a member of K2 but when I looked at the marshal he was doing the hand signal for clean so I spun and shot the player. After the game the marshal said he should have penenlty pointed me for playing on. At least one K2 guy witnessed the same call and said he would have done the same in my position. Afterwords I did find the ball had actually broken and the call was right but if I had not seen the marshal signalling clean I would not have played on. Another time a player had a hit on his leg throughout most of the game but even when checked at the end of the game the marshalls failed to notice the hit.
That said and apart from a few dodgy ones noticed from the sidelines there were some brilliant calls made, split second calls on muggings, and splatter rightfully judged as so.

Sorry, reading back over my last post it appears quite negative. Thats not quite what I intended. The tourney was brilliantly run and the fields were great, again the marshalling was good, no offence intended to marshalls concerned as you did a better job than I or many other could have. The hail of paint and abuse you guys take must be phenominal. Well done and thanks.
