A friend asked me the other day about this, and i was curious? Are there any paintballs with a red fill? or is it illegal cause it looks like "blood", I just didnt know and wanted to find out. Thanks.

yep, red paint is a no no hole point of the sport is to try and get away from any sort of real life killing scenarios or army type stuff.
red fills aint illegal or anything just none of the manufactureres make it due to looking like blood, 2 reasons first as tyrone rightly says we are trying to get away from the 'hunter/killer' image and also, if someone takes a hit and it does draw blood, its a lot easier to see how bada wound is if the fill aint red as well
Way back in the begining most paint had red or blue fill. When I
started playing in 1987 all the paint we used had red shell and fill.
That was 50 cal. made for Daisy 6 shot revolvers, the next year the field bought piranahs. thats the originals(pump guns for those of you not old enough) then we got different colour paints
68 cal. and red paints wher phased out. Mostly to improve the image of paintball.
