pointless

as your marker wont hit where the dot is at any range, other than one which you should be able to hit without one anyway

but if you going for milsim look go for it. or scaring the crap out of punters lol:D

and remember you have a mask on so it will be futher back then having your eye right in the scope... just a tip
The mask may cause a hinderence if you can't get low enough to see through it but usually with red dots you have both eyes open and superimpose the dot over your target.
You don't have to have you eye on the scope at all

Masks don't effect red dot scopes, as you don't put you eye close to them. You might have a problem if you gun has a stock as you can find that you can't get your over far enough against the stock to look down the sight as the mask gets in the way. You can get a 45 degree offset rail which will sort that.

I've tried one on a TM-7 with a 16 inch ultralite barrel and the guys are right the guns aren't accurate enough to warrant a scope. A scope with a bit magnification is good for spotting and you can use it as a rough guide.

Just don't expect to be target shooting.
