Hey Paintballers im Blazin (heh) and im pretty new at the whole paintballing thing. I dont go out in the desert and play around with my friends because we are all just wanting to get guns, but the only problem is that we don't know what kind to get! I was looking around on "www.paintballheadquarters.com" and saw some of the guns they carried. What caught my eye was the "Spyder Fenix" which was only $220 and i could afford it. Is there any recommendation on a gun or paintball gear i should buy??

I started a thred long these lines a little while ago and everyone said "get an ion". I was unsure to get one or not but i used one last weekend and loved it, i prefurred it to many of the more expensive markers. It terms of hoppers, i dont like the egg, i like the revy or halo led is better.

if your new to paintballing, Spyders can be decent starter guns..
Theres also nothing wrong with Ions either..

Do remember your also going to need :-
Air/CO2 Bottle - Air is definately the better of the 2 but it
depends whats available where you live.
its worth noting that CO2 is bad for some
markers.

Hopper - Revvi & Halo LED are 'ok' but if you want speed
at a decent price, an egg is the way to go.
it has its problems but will beat a Revvi or
Halo LED hands down. Halo B or Reloader B
are the ultimate in speed hoppers, but can
be fiddly, only hold about 160, and are expensive.

Mask :- this is one area where you dont want to be tight
as you cant put a price on the safety of your eyes.
if you get JT gogs, get one with a Thermal lens to
minimise fogging, V-Force Profilers and
Dye invisions are also good choices.
