Hey guys so im sorting my kit out for next year. I have new pots etc. But now I think its time to get some gloves. Ive looked at the dye mesa gloves at £30, but what would you all recommend? I would be using them perhaps for martialing on a woods ball site aswell, so recommendations would be great as im sick of being hit in the hand :)

Recommendations on price, comfort, protection, anything would be useful as I dont know anyone who has gloves :)

for marshalling the best things to use are those cheapy armoured plastic gloves. get the ones with the fingertips off them already or just cut them off so you can still maintain guns on field if you need to pull a bolt pin out or something.

For playing, unless you need to be able to consistently ramp like on the airball field then its personal choice whether to go with fingered or fingerless gloves. An old team mate really liked his dye gloves and the planet ones are really nice too with plenty of protection. best gloves i ever used were the Empire ltd ones which had the trigger fingers completely gone, had loads of knuckle padding which got so many bounces and also a bit of kevlar padding on the heel of your palm which was great for making sure you didn't scrape your hand up when diving.

Their mainly for tourni and training so ramping is a must. So im looking for fingerless trigger fingers. Ive seen some empire ones with only the trigger fingers cut out, not sure how comfortable they would be. Especially at £16 more then the dye mesa ones. I think it may be the empire ltd that im talking about

Woodsball sites = have gloves and Mass produced as well, full fingered and half fingered, They are a Damn good glove £6.50, as long as you wash them thoroughly so the dye doesn`t smother your hands first. I`ve always used them.you don`t need to spend fortunes then find they don`t protect the front of your fist but only protect the back part of your hand up to the knuckles, of course you don`t need protection past the middle knuckles as you need these free to work the gun, I`ve found that AFTER you soak and rinse and soak and rinse and soak and rinse Ha Ha Ha , leave them in a bucket of soapy water with a little bit of Bleach in overnight, ( found that the bleach neutralizes any dye left in the glove ) the downside of these type of gloves is that if you don`t do as above Your hands can itch like crazy because of the dye. £6.50 per season Aint Bad.
also getting a proper Jersey that comes with hand protection like in my Profile Picture helps as there`s a lot of guys out there that just wear the cheapest Jersey they can get then wonder why the other guys got it all and YOU Don`t !!
