My last rec ball game sucked because people were eithor cheating or accusing others of cheating. so the whole laid back, fun feeling that usaly comes from rec ball wasnt there

But after awhile all the people fighting or cheating left and people with better attitudes stayed so it worked out ok.

i don't have any probs with people b*tchin' or cheating (too much ) where i play

try finding out when local teams play there, and join in with them, maybe?

Well in the bigger towns there are the cheaters. But in the little field i go to sometimes the owner will tell the dude to leave if I or anybody sees him. We're sponered by the field so that why he will belive me and i've know him for a long time.

you must of been to some naff tourneys then so laid back ...almost horizontal rec ball is just boring for the new up and coming players to be honest

Also its good to help the newbies and little kids and talk to the parents and stuff.

yeah

I find it does help promote the sport in a positive way by talkin to noobs and parents and stuff! Its seen in a more fun way than this WAR stereotype it has been under for years!

Its gotta change some time!

Yah.. rec-ballin is aight, tournies are alot more fun cause theres something to lose.. A rush, Not always a have to win if you have a good team. GO FOR IT!
