im making the move from rec ball to torny's, but im still playing rec ball with my silver bullet, am hoping to get it on air soon enough, probably a 3000psi 0.8l bottle, just wondering how many fills will it need in maybe a 8 game day - firing about 250 balls a game? in comparison to the fills with a 20oz co2 pure energy tank.

You will probably get about 400-500 shots per fill (in comparison to 1000-1200 you probably get from CO2.) This will effectively mean refilling between every game, which sounds like a bore but if you get in the habit of coming off the field and going straight to the fill station it becomes a routine.

Most (organised!) tourney players will refill between every game regardless, because there's nothing worse than getting just where you want to be in a game then running out of air.

Actually, there are several things worse than that. Like having teeth removed without anaesthetic. Or being rubbed all over with a cheese grater. But you get my point.

Mmmm.....cheesegrater.....Running out of air is worse :p

Last time I recced with a blowback on air I was running a Spyder on a 3000psi 0.8l I got through three games at about 200 balls per game before needing a refill.

So i'd say 600 max.
