Rebound Mode - What is it??

ok, just reading my Ions user manual, and its on about Rebound mode..

if im not mistaken, this is ramping.. (correct me if im wrong..)

also, if it is ramping, i know what ramping is, but how do you initialise it?
eg:-
How fast do u need to pull the trigger?
How long does it take for ramping to start?
how often do u need to pull the trigger while ramping?

also, what are the Ions stock presets for ramping?
