Reballs Problems anyone?

I have a PMR and I recently got some reballs to start practicing with, but for some reason the bolt started sticking whenever I used them, so I swithced back to buying paintballs, and found out it was the reballs collecting dirt on them and then it getting in the bolt.
Did or does anybody else get this problem? and what have you done?

Wash the reballs in plain water each use, and dry them. they should be fine, if you use them over and over they may well collect dust, and this won't do your bolt seals any good. PMR should run fine with reballs if used correctly. What hopper are you using?

after use take out your bolt and clean it and lube it

That should be OK, but make sure that its clean inside, no muck or old paint, split the shells and clean them out with some kitchen towel or similar.

I have the exact same problem with my pmr with reballs.

Everything is cleaned before use (reballs and bolt) yet it still happens.

What FPS are ypu shooting the reballs at?

To high and it degrades the surface of the ball and causes it to break up. You can end up with reball bits coating your barrel and breach.

You are only supposed to use them at 220

Also someone once told me they can absord the oil/lube from your internals so you have to lube your gun up more often. more of a problem on spool guns apparently, not sure how right that is.

I shoot them at about 220-230

I used to use reballs every weekend. I used to run at least 3 - 4 cases through a day.

I have used a PM6, PM7, PM8 and DM's with reball. We ran them at 200 - 210.

How to resolve this:
I turned the lpr up a tad, as we used to get major drop off.
