Been looking at purchasing some re balls, to use in my back garden, with my friends.
But I don't know whether they're rubber or foam?
So yeah, does it hurt more / less than a paintball?
Cheers!

Reballs are more for target shooting/snap shooting practise. You don't really want to be shooting each other with them.

To be fair, I don't know. I haven't heard of them, and quite honestly I don't even play paintball anymore. I'm only here because they won't give me the time of day on the UKDogging forums.

It depends, I find they hurt like a b@stard when you get one to the noggin or the knuckle, but otherwise they lose their impact energy much faster on loose clothing and you can barely feel them. I recommend about 230-240 fps if you're shooting at people with them, but trust me, if you're using them in your garden you won't have them long, they disappear into nooks and crannies like noones business. We lose about 500 a year in a well lit gym so your backyard will swallow them up (and they ain't cheap).

I use reballs regularly as our team trains with them. We shoot them about 220- 230 fps and find they hurt about the same as usual paintballs from a reasonable distance. At very close range they do hurt so just be sensible and dont light each other up point blank.

Defiently make sure you use a crono to make sure you are shooting at the correct velocity. First time we played we used 280 thinking "how bad can it be". Needless to say that attitude didn't last more than one game!
