There isn't.

The only Reball centre closed due to player apathy and Paintballers not understanding what is meant by the word "training".

Search for "Fireball Paintball Gym" or something like that for the full story.

I started this thread after the debate about the future of Painball in the UK.
I feel i have the drive to train as much as it takes but how can i when that happens. I feel a bit lost as to what to do apart from physical training on my own, and down to NQ every weekend when i'm at home.

Read up on the numerous articles on drills etc on both this and other sites - ask MarkieC and the staff at the NQ if they can help you with correct stances etc. Also ask people like the Kelly's etc. if they can recommend any drills.

I know exactly how you feel, my little brother has pretty much quit PB because it's almost impossible to get proper training done with a team, he's going back to Aikido and I took up Eskrima this Summer just so I could learn more about physical conditioning and stances/balance.

The road to paintball perfection is a lonely one.

The NQ is a great place to train, recently we've been doing a lot of games because of the up and coming tourneys, but one of the staff will be more than willing to take you through some training (myself included) including warmup, stance, snap shooting, accuracy, running and shooting etc etc

EDIT: Oh and watch out for the fab Nicky T clinic coming to NQ soon!! (shameless plug)

Yeah i have already booked for it. As i have said i am really keen to try and get better and hopefully get into a competative team, with the intention of always improving.

Turn up, play as much as you can, use what you have equipment wise, don't spend money needlessly (which is something I used to do), find a team and stick with them if they are working towards a primary goal of winning the big tourneys.

Reballs only work well if you have a n other person to train with anyway, a lot can be done on your own. Concentrate on fitness when not actually shooting your markers, increase your recovery rate etc :)
