Guys, i thought i would make you all aware of something ive come accross this evening.
Im a member of various forums and have had email alerts come through to my email address saying i have recieved a PM from a user going by the name of 'Jurdreda'
I logged in to my account on another forum and opened the PM from this user. It was titled 'From Administrator'.
The message said "New forum rules" and then had a link below. This member was neither admin, nor a longstanding member of the forum.
Being highly suspicious i did a little research and found someone by this user name has been spamming hundreds of forums around the world sending people a similar PM to the one i recieved.
The link in this PM automatically directs you to a Russian porn site which tries to force a download of highly malicious Malware onto your PC.
I have not yet recieved a PM of this nature from P8ntballer but i wanted to make everyone, including the mods aware of this. Also keep an eye out if you are registered on other forums.
