Big up to Bully, John Payne, marshals and all the teams, and all those who donated prizes for the auction.
Chuck from Redz is still having counseling after parting with a few English pounds, he was even more shocked to find out that we went decimal in the seventies
It cannot be put into words how much this is appreciated, and believe me it sure is touching to see that sort of turn out.
Also it was nice to see a vast amount of players stay for the presentation.

To anybody who took video or pictures of the event, i would like to put together a video for kens kids of the day and any pics of the day will be cool.
I am willing to pay for copies of either pics or vids

Shaun from Dyehard has some video footage, including a bit of a magic trick called the disapearing hit! yes u see a guy making a run, me light him up, the paint break then as if my magic the hit dissapears when he reapears David Copperfield eat your heart out!!

I marshalled on the hay bale field ( hope it was n't there ) and I'd just like to see it.

OR.....You could put it on here and publically humiliate the pour guy! Might stop him from doing it again.

Before I go on let me just say the marshalling was superb at the tourney and in no way are my comments supposed to suggest otherwise!

Twinkle the marshally on your field was awesome I came up and thanked 1 of your guys (didn't get a name unfortunatley) after what I felt was an excellent call, I was the last guy in and a guy came round to mug me, I shot him first (just) and the marshall wiped me clean as the other player shot me after I'd got him, not many woulda made a call that was that close!

Budz I think it was on your field, the marshall was straight over to the player to check him but didn't find a thing one thing I have to ask though, what on earth was that system of starting all about? 5 second countdown then a pause then game on, very confusing and I saw a lot of 'false starts' the ol' '10 seconds' seems a lot simpler. As I say though top marshalling all round!!

I've not seen the video footage yet myself so I'm not sure how clear the magic trick is, I'm also not naming names as the player may not of felt the hit and when he dived into the bunker it may of got wiped 'accidently' on the bunker............

Cheers for the comments, we try to do our best, the way we marshal is to let the game keep flowing, so none of the run in and take a player out of the game on a neutral call unless really necessary. As for the 5 sec start, that wasn't on our field as we did the 10 sec and hand down start so both teams have a visible and audible method of game on, we had one team that broke out early but they redeemed themselves by holding back a bit and there were no complaints from the other team.
I must admit the diablo field was a fast and cramped field to marshal with four, but we only had one complaint from a player, one to many but it was in the heat of a moment mugging situation
