I recently bought some infernos from a local site for my university society. They're in good nik apart from a bit of cosmetic damage. (thx Guppy)

I was wanting to give them a new lease of life with a new paint job, and was wondering what would be the best paint, method etc.

Any advice would be much appreciated :D

look into getting them anno'd or bead blasted and sealed- this is the only way to provide a durable finish to markers- spray painting will be affected by paint hits or spray- i'd suggest talking to guppy or Belsales (dangerous Brian) about the re-annodising

I guess Metalcast is supposed to be a viable alternative to anodizing. Available at auto parts stores and ginormous retailers.

Hiya MadMan! Glad they're working ok ;)

A couple of guys i know sprayed infernos with car paint, after rubbing them down well and de-greasing them. They gave them about 5 coats of car paint then another 3 of lacquer. They looked ok and it seemed to last fairly well, but you could tell they had been sprayed! Anodising is the way to go tho more expensive. It will probably be cheaper if you strip/rebuild the Infernos yourself, but everything has to be removed including all grip parts. Ask Powerball or Belsales for a quote.
Links to both are in my sig.
