Re-inserting attachments

Can anyone tell me how to re-insert attachments to new threads please?

do you need it in another thread? if not you need to delete it.

Or do you mean you want it in 2 threads? in which case i have no idea and would also like to know

never been able to do it...but i may just be a retard...
only way round it i found was to open the attachment and copy the url and paste that into the post.
don't get the image, but do get a link direct to the attachment

I know about that method, but it appears to be possible to do it. Im sure lump does it, whereby it has the pic aswell.

Do you mean if you have used a pic in one thread and then you want to add it to another? It comes up saying attatchment used in thread....... (something like that anyway)
If so, the only way I know you can do it is resize your image in Paint/photoshop ect and then re-use it, as it would be classed as a different picture.

seems mildly silly to NOT be able to, I just thought I was being dumb.

Ive seen lump insert the same pic on numerous threads so asssumed it was possible
