Re-Cocking prob...

Right i just got a regulator for my Spyder Aggressor and i currently have 800psi in my tank but when i fire it, sometimes it will re-cock but it sorta does it twice and sometimes it just doesnt at all.
It tries to but it just dont come far enuf back to lock itself ready for firing... any ideas why? and my gun is clean.

check the o-rings on the hammer are ok,what is the output pressure of the reg ? my spyder runs directly off c02 wich is 800/850 psi,you might not be getting enough pressure to recock it.also check your sear is ok

make sure theres no crap on the bolt cos it does help sometimes try and check the pressures through out the gun..see if there is any blockages on the bottle or in the gun

are you running a anti syphon in c02 tank as rapid fire will freeze the seals causing it not to recock, also u need to adjust the reg turn it down till gun burps then work it out till gun cocks okthen turn it just a bit more, if this dosent work try messing around with the spring settings.

I have a solution,


Get rid of your spyder, like i did,
and get a decent marker, like i did,

then you wont have these problems.

i had a spyder sport
and an e99,

and i had problems with both.

strangely enough it was the same problem, i managed to fix them in the end but after all the hassle, i decided to get rid of both.
was not happy with the performance of either marker.

I now run an evo vertical feed cocker with blue fade anodising and i love it.

just need to test it in tournament now.

Before you do anything, check your new reg, it's probably not turned up high enough

Have you got enuff co2 in ya bottle (just a thought)
