Sunday the 20th after the preliminaries and X-ball I cleand up my playing gear, since it was the end of games for us... We were staying at the "sportcschule hotel" at 4th floor...

I put up totally wet black-silver Raven Havoc-X pants to dry for a moment outside of our room, and during that 15-30 minutes they were there, somebody stole them!

Ok, it was my mistake to put stuff outside, but it was a really f...ing idiot thing to steal stem !

So if You see somebody, who participated MAX's masters, wear new but used black-silver Raven Havoc-X pants, GIVE HIM THE BIGGEST DISRESPECT EVER !

-t

Ps There was a line of drops going to rooms of guys from Portsmouth University, but they swore they didn't take them...

Ps2. Raven HAVOC-X pants are excellent, but expensive!

What next??

They take your shoes and socks too..??

Hate when you loose your tools on site as well - You know how tough it is to get your hands on quality imperial hex-keys in Denmark?? Not easy anyway...

Best of luck!!

we were in the bar all night, the player that did go up stairs to the rooms was accosted by one of your players and the room was checked.
i find it insulting that you are blaming one of our players.:(

For the record I was guesting with Portsmouth Uni at the Max Masters and as Rich (upsupball) says we were all together (bar one) in the bar at the time the Ravens were supposedly stolen and the only absent player from our crew allowed his room to be searched

I will personally vouch for the Team and hope my word is considered good enough for anyone reading this

need to get hold of Tank for an exit
I have been involved in Portsmouth Uni Paintball club/team since 1997, and never once have we had a thief on the team, and hopefully not in the club either.
(team = about 12 to 15 peopel per year, club = 150).

The team is extremely proud of it's good name, and all of the team members are aware that when playing for the team, we are representing not only ourselves and the team, but also our Students Union, our University, and our sponsors (for which we are eternally grateful).
To be involved ina criminal activity whilst representing all of the above would not only result in being kicked off the team, but also in being expelled from university.
We all have a lot of time and money invested in our degrees, and to throw all of that away for a pair of trousers doesn't exactly make sense, does it?

When I read you comment, Tommi, I was extremely upset that the team had been linked to a crime, and spent around 3 hours speaking to almost all of the team who were in Germany (I was not present) to ascertain what happened.

As Hotpoint and Rich (Upsupball) have said, all except one member of the team were in the bar (as good students should be). The one team member who was not present was asleep, and after being accused of stealing the trousers allowed a full search of his room - allowing searches? That's not the action of a thief, is it?

Since you already know that yoru trousers were not taken by any member of Portsmouth Uni team, I find it very upsetting that you chose to make the libelous comment regarding the so-called trail of drips (nobody that I've spoken to saw it - as it had dried up).

I am not in any way associated with Portsmouth Uni but I do know a few of the guys and would like to say I would be exceptionally surprised if there was any suggestion that they had been other than completely honest and straight.
These guys are among the most honest people in the sport! I would find it hard to believe that they had stolen anything, especially without more proof than a possible trail of drips that might have petered out (as drips do), or stopped somewhere near their rooms because the person who DID take the trousers noticed and put them in or on something.

Sorry everybody who are offended by my post !

I am not accusing anyone in particular, cos' I don't know who took the pants.

Specially not accusing anyone from Portsmouth University... As I said the drops only led to Your rooms, and You swore You did not take them... SO BE IT CLEAR , I BELIEVE NONE OF YOUR PLAYERS TOOK THEM !

And as I said IT WAS STUPID OF ME TO LEAVE THE PANTS OUTSIDE. Yes that was stupid but I was not the only one drying my gear outside.

...but...

My point is, that the hotel was filled with basically 100% paintballers, and to me it does not make sense to take anything from fellow players. We all know how expesive this sport is and we all know that there is far too many occasions where we paintballers COULD take stuff from each other but we paintballers don't, because we paintballers are simply honest and friedly people.

Again here I am not accusing any paintballers or anyone else except the person who took the pants.

So:
- Big disrespect to the person who took the pants!
- Sorry to everybode else for any misunderstandings!

If i see anyone with your trs dude, dont worry they will get there ass kicked in your direction.

It does suck when stuff gets knicked, most of us have had stuff knicked at some point playing paintball. It is something that needs to be sorted out, the sooner the better.

As a member (Vice President) of Portsmouth Uni Paintball Team you have my word that it was not any of us who stole your kit. And if i find out anyone in my club has eva knicked something, then they are history - period.

We pride ourselves in honesty and fair play, and do not want in anyway our good reputation to be tarnished, we have worked too hard to throw away what we have over a pair of trousers.

Regards

Alex
