I just got a rat impulse and have yet to use it so i was wondering if turning off ur impy while gassed up is a bad thing. Also when increasing the outlet pressure on a horizontal max-flow should i shoot as i increase the pressure or can i simply increase the pressure slowly without firing the marker.

never seen a RAT impulse, but the same rules still apply i guess.
i always fire off the pressure before turning the marker off.
cos you may accidentally try and remove the bottle (CO2) while it is still gassed up, and that can be dangerous to the internals.
as for the max flo, i dont think it matters too much, not sure tho.
personnally i would fire as i do it, e.g. wind it up a bit, fire etc.

that help?

It's obvious i dont know much about my new gun but i read about how your supposed to have the output pressure on the horizontal max-flow under 100 psi when gassing up to avoid shocking the solenoid and i was wondering if i should fire some shots as i turn up the output pressure or if it doesn't matter whether you fire shots.
