Having a go at a few scenario games this year and thinking of getting a RAP4. Would like to hear what others think of them. Anyone know a UK based supplier or a forum where they are sold (not seen any on here)? Considering a T68 but not sure which configuration is best (mag/hopper/switchable or manual/egrip etc). Mainly play tourny and a few walkons so any advice useful.
Cheers
Rich :)

mate i have 3 rap 4s..... 2x gen 6 t68 one is m4 with L7 bolt system and bangstixx with snaggletooth and a frostbite rifle again with L7 and 22" hammerhead with M50 mussel both e trigger upgrades and both mag fed. in all honesty they are superb markers but they are a absolute pain to zero and setup they are based on spyders so are very easy to strip down and adjust. the only gripe i have is that softer pain doesnt go well with the mags i used mace today as this was all that was available and had no end of breaks in the chamber which mant i only got through 12-14 mags before one gun needed stripping and missing 2 rounds. they are a lot of fun indeed. if you need any in depth detail about rap products give me a shout. also mike at rap4uk is the guy to speak to he knows his stuff and is v helpful.

dont mean to be rude but rap4 have a reputation for being Crap4
they are based of spyders so they will only shoot as well as spyders, which is very bad for the price you pay since they are so overpriced
if you want a mag fed marker get an x7 or a phenom and get the tacamo conversion kit, even though the mags still have problems
or get a tiberious t4, they are solid

Also consider the fact that a lot of scenario players use tourney style markers. I have an Etek 1 and an Etek 3, as do most of my team mates.

For example Scottish Warriors all shoot Dye NT's. Tippmann UK have Phenoms, which can keep up with most tourney markers no problem at all. If it's the "look" you're going for I have heard nothing but good things about the Tippy.

I haven't really seen anyone using a mag fed yet. I hesitate to use the word "outgunned" but I just did. Mind you I guess it's similar to playing with a pump and I know guys who do that all day long no problem.

The RAP 4 stuff does have a rep for beng temperamental although I have no first hand experience to speak of.
