I have a query about ramping, if you would please.

When your in ramping and stop firing, should anymore balls continue to come out?

My gun continues to shoot 2-3 balls after I have stopped shooting/ramping. I own a Geo and I have set the ramping up manually and I was told that no balls should come out after the last trigger pull. If that is true I cant understand how or why this is happening.
The gun has been stripped and cleaned inside and out, so no paint on the trigger, debounce setting is factory standard.

Any advice welcome :)

When your gun is in ramp mode........... it fires extra shots.... I will let you work out if it fires them before or after you pull the trigger:)

Yeah cheers for that one Russ, long time no speak.
I figured that one ^^^^ out all by myself :D
I know extra balls should come out as long as you sustain whatever it's set at. The reason for the thread is, should they shoot out after the last trigger pull? and if so how many?

My thinking, is it will, but I was told by a marshall that my gun was in PSP mode, although it defo wasn't, but 2-3 balls were coming out after the last trigger pull.

PSP is 3 shot ramping so every time the trigger is pulled (above the sustain rate) it fires three shots. So when you stop pulling the trigger it fires an additional 2 shots.

Millennium is 2 shot ramping so every time the trigger is pulled (above the sustain rate) it fires 2 shots. So when you stop pulling the trigger it fires a single additional shot.

Hence why simply changing the activation, sustain and cap of psp to that of millennium does not give a millennium compliant mode. Which i have seen many fall foul of (mostly mini users).

as far as i know that ok, as when in ramp mode, you can fire in 2/3 shot bursts per trigger pull so im guessing thats what its doing.

I thought PSP was 3 shots semi, then hold for full auto?

Is it not a bouncy marker lee? I think i must be reading something wrong but it sounds to me like your gun is run away and adds a few at the end?

Have you recently changed your trigger to opto over switch and forgot about the debounce? That could be the problem

:D

Edit:- If you are not sure go for switch and debounce 5 then go from there depending on how your trigger / marker is setup. Have a little play up and down and you will get it right, to fine tune use the opti and then have a good read of the manual and work your own out :D
