Mmmmm, Racegun!
The benefits of the electro are well known, and don't really need going over again (but I will
) - the ability to sweetspot someone, when you snapshoot you can get out a couple of extra balls, and towards the end of a game, your fingers aren't tired, so you can still nail people as they make the moves.
In all honesty, a hinge trigger will go as fast as an electro, but you lose the above benefits. Also, you can't short stroke an electro trigger, or fit an anti-chop eye to a hinge trigger.
Out of all the electro cocker conversions, the race using an electronic 5-way up front makes it a lot more precise to time, and you can plug it into a palm on site if you need to adjust anything.
Also, the Race has a new board on the way which uses a leaf switch instead of a dome swich, which apart from the main effect of reducing trigger bouce a heck of a lot, feels amazing.
Not to mention the fact that out of all the electro-cockers the race is the only one that has "classic" mode - you hold the trigger back, the back block stays back, and let's be honest, that's why we like cockers.
