My racegun is having difficulty shooting way fast, and shooting at all when pointing down. This can be a bit embarassing when trying to mug someone.

Anyone had this B4, if so, what was wrong wif the darn thing.

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Badvoc.

could be something to do with you open times not being high enough to recocke the marker.
what exactly is it doing? skipping shots entirely. burping? cocking and not firing at all.

need to get hold of Tank for an exit
Soudns like the lug height/freekick need to be sorted out - probably the freekick if it's having trouble shooting when pointed down - I'll put money on it working fine when pointed upwards.

Actually, re-reading, it could be as simple as doing the 5 minute timing job on it, which is a little quicker than adjusting the freekick.

Whereabouts in London are you based (might be able to meet up and give it a once over) ?

To be honest, posting settings along with full (and detailed) specs can be slightly helpful with problems such as this, but each and ever cocker is different, and as such, the only way is to time the individual cocker.

It could be helpful if he says he has a stock bolt/ram/no qev's, running an LPR pressure of 30psi and an open time of 3ms - then I could say it's not working, but apart from that settings are pretty gat specific. :)

.

This is sounding like a setting problem rather than something broken. I'm not going to say which well known cocker shop recently set it up, but be sure I will be speaking to them.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I really appreciate you're taking the time to help.

if you're not confident setting the freekick ( it can be a bas!"£d) then i would recommend ringing belsales, as they have more experience with race frames than any other shop in the uk. Dangerous brian set mine when i had a race and i had no problems after that, there was a bad batch of free kick shims floating around about a year ago..... how old is your frame?

if it is burping when the gun is pointed at the floor then this is a deffinate freekick problem, get it to belsales......... they're based in aldershot. not too far out of london
