I got one and like it !!
I got a hold of one of the racegun kits recently - and I must admit that I like it very much - everyone I have shown it to is also very impressed so far.
I installed it on my backup cocker in about half an hour, everything fits and it even comes with the screws necessary to mount the frame.
The plate for the solenoid is not the prettiest thing but then again think of it as advertisement space (Meaning - put a nice sticker on it) - rumor has it the plates will be available anodized soon which will help a lot on the looks. I am going to have my name engraved on the plate - imagine the benefit of this if you get your picture on the frontpage of PGI one day (hey it is really me) !
After the installation of the frame you have to spend a little time timing the marker to your liking but this is pretty straight forward process as long as you have a PC.
The trigger is adjustable and can be set as long/short as you like by the turning of a couple of hex screws.
The workmanship on the frame itself, the elctronics and even the cables comming with the frame is second to none - the fact that you can get both a carcharger and mains unit is brilliant.
The way the grip engages and activates the sear is pretty clever (and patented as far as I know) - the engineers behind this thing has definitely spent a lot of time checking different options for this.
With regards to maintenance its a bit early to tell but the parts that are usually worn in a cocker are hardened and the rest of the stuff should be pretty much maintenance free (only time will tell) - get the racegun hammer and lug screw with the kit if you dont have a polished hammer with a hardened lugscrew already.
All in all I like it very much (and yes I have tried the pivot trigger for the cocker as well) - it looks to me as a very good piece of kit !
Racegun or Pivot ??? - I like the extra features you get with the Racegun grip (and all the stuff it might be able to do in the future) - the pivot trigger is good but its not going to offer you anything new apart from the feel of the trigger (i.e. gametimer, funny firing modes, the future of the eye etc.).
