Race gun frame

I *heard* there isn't much difference but I didn't get to try it myself although I had the chance. The guy said it wasn't much different than my shocktech ROF wise and he said it was easier to pull the trigger.

Being used to electros I occasionaly double ball and stuff.I think he meant it made that kind of situation redundant.

Sorry I couldnt be more helpful.

Well I would say yes but then I bought mine second hand and upgraded to a new style frame so it was a lot cheaper. I am still on the buzz of having one so all I can say is yes, yes and YES! However guys like Flash, TOPOR, Manike, Inferno and any of the Shockwave novice/III guys will be able to give you a more informed answer.

Rather than me posting all my stuff again, follow this link:

all the old posts I have made regarding race

I'd put a full reply here, but I'm all excited cos I'm involved in some Day of Defeat scripts, and we've just released them on the world! :D

Oh, and most of my opionions in them old posts are when I had the dome switch grip, with old style trigger. I now have the latest version (leaf switch, new style trigger) and it's even better :D

Any more specific questions tho, feel free to leave em here........

Check out the E-blade from planet if the price quoted for the race gun in PGI is accurate the E-blade is well cheaper, also the blade has an optical switch and magnetic return, its very smooth and the pic's in PGI may not have done the race gun any justice but if thats representative then the E-blade solenoid is a lot sexier as well. I was talking to the Planet lads recently and they recon between 16 and 20 bps for it and trigger pull length can go down to below 0.5 of a mil. they are out next month.

John,

The Racegun pictured in PGI has the old old solenoid on it - they do a smaller one now, with a smaller wrap-around type bracket, or, for completeness of sexiness, the raceguns -e- frontblock, where the solenoid is housed within the front block.
pic of it over at warpig
Mmm, it makes me moist :D

When the Planet lads were talking about 16 to 20 bps id they let slip any of their secrets of high ROF? just curious you understand ;)

The planet one is a screw in replacement for the 3-way and is not much bigger than the old stock 3-way mmmmm nice
Cockers rock and the E-E-cocker (electronic eclipse) is well nice, not that I am biased at all but I ordered mine ages ago I beleive retail is £300-£390 range but don't quote me cos Ledz ain't sure yet.
