Just got myself an eclipse and I need to start aquiring barrels, but I'm tempted to fork out for a 14" freak set. Before shelling out, I wanted to get my esteemed paintball fraternity buddies' opinions on this one...

you playing this thing in june? or marshalling? if ya need a team we need a player!!
freaks are great barrels, quiet, reasonably accurate but best of all reduces the paint problem! check with dan i am pretty sure one of their guys has a freak, if not borrow a back and you can have a play about with my kit

Thanks for the advice re the Freak - yeah Ritchie and Coran have used the freak on their cockers but I wanted a few more views on it, before deciding.
Not sure what's happening about June yet, but if you're still strapped for a player closer to the date, let me know.

Only get the Stainless Freak back cos the aluminium(Black) ones dont tend 2 fit cos the Freak bubble sticker gets in the way of it(The front block that holds the ram etc) being screwed on & if u can just get it on u may struggle 2 get it off.
Get the Freak deluxe.

I have just recovered form the absolute seeing to Dave H gave me so i might be able to make it on Sunday, dont finish work till 1:30 then get a taxi from Sainburys to the site so see you there and i have your fluffy barrel thing.
I could try borrow EDs freak kit for the cocker so u can have a go.
As for Sean, if you need players then i know of 1 maybe 2 Ed is one, but you will need to give him loads of notice so he can sort work out.
Would you need another front player to play the brilliant role i played as your front guy!!!!!!!!1

As always paintballers putting look before function. The ally backs are lighter than the stainless ones so don't be a gear tart.
