Have you got any webspace for these files? If not then try BTi Hosting.

Example package:
50mb space
1gb bandwidth
Unlimited subdomains
Unlimited email addresses
4 MySQL databases
CGI-BIN
And a very easy to use cPanel!

Only 5iver a month!

If you have webspace, then you need to upload your files to the server.

How big is your site, and does it use any form of database back-end?

If you don't have the budget to stretch to a "monthly subscription" host, and you're not expecting a lot of traffic, the easiest way to get some pages up online is to sign up for a free account with one of the many ISPs that give free hosting (it'll be limited to 25mb webspace or something) and use the "URL Forwarding" feature of 123reg to direct your domain to the ISP's free account - it'll be something like "webpages.freeISP.com/users/myaccountname".

You can also redirect email using the email-forwarding feature to addresses of your choice.

I haven't used 123reg myself, but it should be similar to all the various registrars out there that offer the same service. PM me if u need assistance.

123-reg

123-reg is really good for domains and hosting. You will, as these guys have said, need to buy the hosting to go with the domain though. 123-reg do a good package which is about £2.99 a month - this, I expect, will give you enough space.

Then, once that is set up, you'll get a user name and password which you'll need when you want to ftp the files up to the website. (ftp is file transfer protocol). If you're wanting to upload the files yourself then you'll need an ftp programme - you can dowload these off the web... there's one here:

http://www.support.daelnet.net/index.cfm?navStatus=downloads

Download the one that's called: WS_FTP 95

Just follow the instructions to install it and then transfer the files from your laptop across to the website. You'll need to put your username and password into the programme but you'll be prompted to do this.
With 123-reg it can take up to 3 days to get the site "live". Until then you'll just get the 123-reg adverts, (which are annoying). When it's live though it'll be reliable.

Hope this helps !!

:D
