Not being a Cocker tech, and not knowing much about Cocker either, come to think of it.............

I would probably say that you may be able to run a pressure that low, but it will mor than likely give you performance issues (consistancy, rapid fire....).

Come to think of it, I don't really know, so why did I reply.......????????

Oh well, typed it out now.........

if you are dual regging then you want the inline outputting around 280-300 into the marker and the supply running around 550 ish

im running my cocker off an 04 conquest with a gas thru grip at 280psi and it is fine :) but then i have a HUGE regulated air resovour in the gas thru

It did come up mate but I was out...my advice, is not to run it at 450...most cockers will run somewhere around 325 into the marker...idealy you want around double this from your airsource...I run mine at 550-600...other wise you might get drop off at high ROF's, or re-cocking trouble.

What you are supposed to do is sweet spot the reg..so, lower your input from the black magic, then dial it in till it shoots...thgen shoot it over a chrono...up the input little by little till the velocity stops rising..then back it off till it starts to drop..then back up again a fraction, so that any change, up or down gives a lower velocity...then its sweetspotted...then set your final velocity at the back as normal, hopefully with as little springing as you can..input is around 325psi

Yeah...850 is fine..not ideal, but no worries..

800/850psi presets on an e-blade are fine Liam :) Ran a preset on two e-blades and didn't have an issue. The only thing it may effect compared to having a lower pressure running into it (like 550/600psi is the number of shots per fill, but it don't make that much difference to be honest :)

Okay sweet, always like putting the lp presets on when i can i just feel safer and read somewhere the regs didnt like more than 800 going into them, just a stupid thing but i always think it will ruin them for some reason, if i screw the preset straight in how do i know what the black magic is set at? do i just turn the allen key in or out to get it shootin under 300, or should the black magic be set at a certain pressure then do it through the thing on the back of the gun? how do you know what pressure the black magic is giving out, even with a gauge its still gotta be on a gun right so is there a chance of blowing summets up if its not set right? :( man this is confusin shizzle

sorry to be a pain, but could someone give me the instructions on how to do it all when using a 850 preset? lol sorry again, cheers parks :)
