what is a x board or y board on a hopper?

x-board you buy as aftermarket product - capable of feeding 22bps

i think you are confusing the bps of a egg with a revvy, the x-board is for the revvy which feeds less than the bps u mentioned above

the real answer:

Both are upgrade boards from View Loader. Y boards are for Evolution II hoppers, X boards are for Revolution Hoppers.

x boards make standard revvy's about 10% faster. y boards are the latest stock board for the eggy hopper, claims to do 17 bps. the aftermarket upgrade for the eggy is the z board which can do 22bps supposedly
