Ok, not played paintball for ten years, have bought my own gun recently, for a company game, but want to get back into it, used to go down to the challange in Redditch. Am looking for walk on rec days, for beginners-moderates....... Not people who are going to spank my arse (in paintballing terms I mean)!!

Looking in the Manchester area.

How far can you travel?
There are a few up and coming walk ons in the rec-ball section. Elsham/Nottingham etc....
I'd also put this up in Rec-ball and maybe ask in anouncements if anyone near you is playing regularly anywhere. You'll definately be sorted in Manchester as there's a huge amount going on.

i deffinitly think that paintball is a lot bigger over in the U.K. then in the Sates or at least MY sate! haha! what does walk on mean? just like being able to pay and then just play with random teams or what?

first of all welcome to the forum and welcome back to balling

there are a few places around manchester, there is on the edge which is run by planet
www.planeteclipse.com who run monthly (i think) walkons
or there is dukinfield paintball who run a walk-on every tuesday night in duckinfield near ashton-u-lyne

this is a training day run by my team, we get several members from lots of team coming down as well as some inexperienced players, some of whom have never played on a sup air field before. if you get in touch with jud via the forums im sure he and the rest of the gang would make you more than welcome and give you some pointers as to how to improve your game. dont worry about getting shot to hell....everyone does on these training days, thats part of the idea!
nice and cheap too and paint is available too, air is free and mcdonalds is round the corner for dinner!

It's certainly bigger over your side of the pond......... remember how small the UK is compared to you....... just about everything that ever happens in UK paintball is mentioned in here........that just makes it look big. You may be right about Minnesota though same problem here..... not too much up at our end of the country.
