Hi Dan

The SLG is possibly the simplest of all the current DYE/Proto matrix' to fix and maintain.

With the bolt kit comprised of only 2 parts, and only three 'active' o-rings, there is surprisingly little that could go wrong.

Cleaning an SLG is simple. De-gas the SLG using the 'bleed button' at the back of the marker, remove the 2-piece bolt kit (the bolt piece and the back-cap/plunger) clean it off, clean through the breach of the SLG, re-lube the bolt kit and put it back in.

The only other thing you will need to do periodically is replace the battery.

As for the feedneck, the stock one does the job, but if you would prefer a clamping style feedneck, these are easily fitted.

If you have any other questions then feel free to ask.

Best regards

When you say "plunger" i assume you mean the bolt???
If so, the bolt simply undoes with an allen key and can then be pulled straight out the back.

Sounds like an o-ring has gone on the bolt cap for air to be leaking from there!

As for the bleed valve your going to have to explain a little better as i dont have a clue what part your on about?

Understand now. I would think that the problem is something to do with the o-rings on the bolt rather than the pressure release on the back cap.

Have you checked all the other o rings? Im sure the pressure button on the back comes out when the bolt is back where it should sit and pressurised.

If your still stuck, post up your problem in the dye/proto section, Ash or someone will usually get back to you quickly helping you out.

It sounds like the output pressure of the Hyper3 reg is too low.

What air system are you using? Has anyone adjusted the Hyper3 reg? They are set and tested in production, so it should work fine.
