is there a website on which I can find out what sentence somebody got after being convicted in the UK?
Not paintball related, but please humour me.

this was recommended to me a while ago http://www.thelawpages.com/court-cases/court-sentences.php but you have to register (though it says free) it's not always instant and you may need to know a fair chunk of info to narrow down.

It's gonna help if you know the town/city and date, otherwise you're looking through a very long list of chav-crime that will make you want to get multiple vasectomies.

That's more or less why I didn't bother in the end, it was a passing interest/schadenfreude on someone I once knew...decided they weren't worth all that effort and life's too short

I know the name of the defendant, but not the court date.

Have you tried googling their name, followed by court location (town or county) and court. I've used this a few times to find some details and normally bring up local newspaper articles of it was worth them doing anything, or local paper also does a monthly roundup on defendants results.
Eg. Joe Bloggs, Cornwall , court.

Is anybody able to find out what happened with the case for Kevin Bourne in Croydon Crown Court?

News articles state he was tonne at Croydon on 25 January

You should be able to pick it up via this and selecting the date, but nothing will come up as at 25 January if the case wasn't completed. You should also be able to search the name. Are you sure the case has competed yet? There appear to be no outcomes in the news

The other thing is that googling the court and the name brings up the disclaimer on the bottom that results may have been removed due to European privacy etc. (Someone had objected to being listed). If that's the situation then non European search engines may find more)

Thanks chaps! Last thing I know is that the court date had been moved to some time in April. But I was unable to find anything.
