Most manufacturers make their microswitches in either ptm, ptb, or changeover, more commonley changeover.

Measure the size and look at maplins website.

switch.

dude, a switch is just a switch, provided it switches correctly (positive switching or negative switching), just find one that fits and use that, just as Tom Allen sez, just measure and buy. hope this helps, or go to the RS website, they carry loads of components.:)

swap function

does the switch have three terminals?

If so the middle one is usually common and the outer ones are either PTM and the other PTB.

Right then, i have these here, but if your switch has the same three contacts, then it is both a ptm and a ptb. As it has a single pole changeover contact. From the end where the lever starts and the button is, the first contact is the common, the second is the push to make, and the third is the push to break.

So if you need push to make, connect wires to the first and second.

If you need a push to break, connect wires to the first and third.

If you need one of these microswitches pm me your address and i'll send you one.
