Question about Shockwave(s)

I'm not sure where this belongs, it's a 'Querie' about a tourney team ... I'm sure Baca will not hesitate to move it if I'm putting it in the wrong spot. Any way ...

Are all the Shockwaves related? I.E. Shockwave UK, Shockwave Canada, etc. Is there a Shockwave USA?

Do you have any Idea how many 10-man teams there are in southern california? 943! Well last time I checked any way. I don't know, I didn't know that Shockwave LA was Shockwave Los Angeles. There's just too much going on here. I need to move to England or something. It Seems like it's alot easier to hop on a tourney team in the UK ...

I wonder how many teams there really are ...

Sadly, the pball community is so bereft of ideas that teams in tha UK, Canada and tha US - and probably Guatemala for all I know - went 'Duh, Shockwave, cool name - we'll be called that too."

In tha Brits defence, they had it first I beloieve...Robo came up with the name because at tha time he was using Shockwaves hairgel, which is quite a famous brand in tha UK, by Wella I believe.

And that, my friend, is 100% true.

Obviously, when Robo dropped the slick back Cadillac look and went Kojak, he had to leave tha team.
