Im currently looking to get a 300bar Dive tank to use to Refill an air system as many others already do, the question is about the Twinset Tanks that are joined together with a manifold, do these manifolds essentially give you 1 larger tank when using the DIN Adapter that planet sell or do you have to treat it as 2 separate tanks & move the adapter over when one tank gets low?

Hi mate if the manifold does not have an isolation valve then the twinset will essentially work as one large tank. Do the tanks have independant handles to turn them on/off? is so you can just turn one tank on and leave the second off and use each independantley of its neighbour. Alternatively you can remove the manifold and just leave the tanks as two seperate tanks twinned together.

There are 3 on/offs on the top of the 2 tanks, one on each tank and one in the middle, which I assume equalises the 2 tanks.

What I want to know is, can you have a DIN adapter fitted to 1 tank with the cross-over open does it use Both Tanks?

Might just be easier to look for a single larger Tank.
