Hey guys, i was just wondering is it nessisary to loctite the QEVs to the ram? and if so, is it advisable to use 243 loctite, or should i just use PTFE tape? Thanks, Chris

I suppose it could be because the ram only opperates at about 60-70 psi? I was wondering would it still be fine if i was to install the QEV on the rear of the ram, but give it a quarter turn back, asi need to do this so my Ram screws all the way into the semi block. Chris

are we talking on a cocker ram?

anyway yes you can set them in more or less any position using a tiny amount of loctite

hey guys, did it about 12 hours ago and now tested it, it works great. but i have a problem with a leak, i don't think it's a major one, but anyway it's irritating me. when my ram is in the forward position (bolt closed) i can hear gas leaking. but when i fire and keep the backblock retracted, the hissing stops. and then i let the backblock back again and there is no leaking sound for about 3-4 seconds, then i can hear the leaking again. it sounds like it's coming somewhere from my ram, possibly the back section. i have an eclipse nexus ram if that helps. cheers, Chris
