So Nick Jenkinson captained the Barbarians paintball team did he!

To put the record straight, Nick Jenkinson was never the captain of the Barbarians team. The captain was Darren Roe.

Both Darren and myself formed the Barbarians in 1990. It took over our lives as any team captains playing at the moment will know.

What is most upsetting is the time and effort put in by myself and Darren and the success of the team and it's members with someone else trying to take the credit.

Nick joined the Barbarians in around 1991 and DEPARTED in 1993.

Nick we find this comment offensive!

Ahem! Steve...to my knowledge you've never been quoted, never mind misquoted in PBUK...If you have been please be so kind as to let me know and I'll make the correction in print.

As regards anyone else being misquoted in the mag if we interview someone we print what they tell us...we don't edit the context and we don't print what we THINK they tell us just what they say to us. If other people don't like it then it's kinda TS I'm afraid. And if people want to wash their dirty laundry in public that's up to them but dont drag the mag into it.

We take people at their word. We're not investigative journalists and I'm actually not even remotely interested in trying to track down someones past to "verify" what they did 10 years ago.
