two of my mates are undecided, one says it will the other it wont and as ive only really just started i dont kno.

Putting the spider on Air is a good move and may be a bit expensive to start but you can take the air system to your next marker if you decide to upgrade.

The benefits

- More consistant over the chrono (shouldn't have big jumps you do with Co2 and temp)
- Less changing of o-rings
- Don't have to worry about freezing up during cold days

And the fact you can pick up 3000 psi preset (800psi output) setup which just screw in like your Co2 bottle for around £80 these days without having to change anything on the marker can't be bad :)

There's no shame in putting your spyder on air!

If your playing tournaments with it (and why not?) then it will help, and for the price, it's not that much...:)

In the UK Phoenix paintball do a preset for less than £80 www.p8ntonline.com as for what price to pay for a spyder I can't help you but as its a 2 year old marker 1/3 - 1/2 of its retail price is a good start.
