PUSH Who's who

Having watched PUSH over and over again, until even my girlfriend started to like it, I have a few questions about this flick which I hope some of you will be able to answer for me.

At the end, this dude says: "He something to his leg." "Who did?" "That guy! He stuck a stick in his leg! *giggle*"
Could someone maybe explain what the hell that was all about?? And who was that dude anyway?

Also, who shot the ref in his ass?
