I was looking for an ASA that had the gas line coming out of the front and beaker pointed me in the direction of hybrid's range. I had a look on BreatheSports.com their uk distributer and saw this:

"Grind 04
Built for strength, design and unique in function, this is push button on/off system that will be set apart from the rest. "

Push button on off system? Has anyone tried this, and can tell me what it is like.

Cheers :)

The o-rings last longer the lower the pressure, they would be easy to change but it's best to keep them well greased.
We used to use a similar in-line on-off years ago, on co2.

Just to check, the on/off - does it stop/allow air from the asa to the bottle (i.e. it is not possible to de-gas the ASA by firing off the remaining air.) Or does it disengage the pinvalve like other ASA's i've used.

My guess would be the 2nd but thought i would check.

The instruction guide for the Hybrid on/off can be found here --->
Manual

Each on/off also comes with spare orings

Cheers for the help. :) I had a look at the manual but still wasn't certain about he above question. Does the on/off stop the airflow from the bottle? Otherwise when you bleed the ASA after turning it off you would have to unscrew the bottle first under pressure.

Great website btw. Will you be having any trade stands at tourneys in the new season?

i believe that when u turn it off it will release the pressure so that u dont have to unscrew ur bottle with air still being in the asa

From the design i would say not, but it does vent the gas from the gun.
It's common practice for the bottle to be removed live, and as you remove it the bottle vents through a hole in the side of the asa, after a couple of turns.
