I use a Melee on my spare Mag,works fine doesn't need any looking after and pre set 800psi input is perfect for a Mag.

All I know is I want air cos I will be using a remote system sometimes and I can be bothered with faffing around with Anti Siphons on C02

On gun = need anti siphon

On remote = no anti siphon

= Me buying AIR, regardless of how much it costs without over-doing it

Either would be fine for a Mag - as the air valve does its own regulation they work great with presets, go with whichever you can get cheapest.

Fubar - air is one of the best upgrades you'll ever buy. Especially now it's getting a bit colder - CO2 + winter = not fun. :)

You have already narrowed down your choice of regulator/system.
The Melee is the only one (complete that is) that you can get with an HSE bottle so given that you are in the UK you don't have the luxury of a second choice, not unless you spend more money, but you are saying you are short on cash so the Melee will be the way to go.
Given the above if anyone can be sure that the Pure Energy regulator fits an HSE bottle post away, as far as I am aware the only way you can do it is to put a thread adapter on.
