Pump competition?

Having just blown the dust from my Sterling and took it out for a bash, I found it so much fun that I want to do it again. I am posting to see if there is any interest in a pump competition, to be held either in Norfolk (likely) or Surrey (less likely) and if so, what format should it take. I was thinking about mechanical (non-assisted) pumps only, with any gas source and no limit on paint. Other options are no agitating hoppers, limited paint etc. If you are definitely interested in getting the old wrists moving again, then PM me or e-mail to oliver.bell@virgin.net, and we will see if enough will have a go to make it worth while.
As many pump types are less internetted than some, if you know someone who has a pump and doesn’t frequent the boards, please let me know.
If you would like to try the format but don’t own a pump marker, please let me know as I will try and arrange good deals on some pump markers from cheap to still pretty cheap (amazing how cheap markers can be when you leave out the batteries). I guarantee, if enough people respond and are committed to the event, it will take place, even if it’s in my back garden.

Further to the above- I have spoken with the nice lads at Powerball and they have confirmed they will offer a substantial discount on both Bronze and STP Sterlings for those who wish to take part, contact me for details.

We'd certainly be interested in fielding a team. I think we proved with Flash Point that we're prepared to travel any distance for a good laugh. Further to your point about markers - We've got about 60 Traccers in really good nick. With slam fire they'll give even a semi a run for it's money. Good range and accuracy - we dig them out now and again for a run out for old times sake. You're welcome to borrow them at no cost if it helps get's the event up and running.

No problemo they're there if you want them and we'll definately support it if you get it off the ground. I see Stevie from Paintball Alexandria has posted too so I'll see if we could rope some of their lot in too.
