Alan very kindly gave me some pulses to mess about with, (Thanks Alan)
As they say on Blue Peter 'Here's one I made earlier'
It was fairly easy, there are only a few things to consider:
placing the reverse button (you need to drill a hole)
sorting out the spring/drivecone issue (you need to drill a hole in the catch cup)
managing to fit everything in the shell is probably the hardest bit
Pretty easy mod to do, it only took a few hours, you only need a drill and maybe a soldering iron incase you break some wires (I knocked the wires off the motor, doh!)

The brown and white wires at the top go to the reverse button which is poking out of a hold I drilled in the shell (shown in the next pic)

The raceway

I think I may have drilled the hole for the button too far from the edge, and I found I had to dremel some plastic off the gear cover on the bottom of the raceway
Catch cup (I only drilled the top hole, the bottom one was already there)

Catch cup in the raceway (put in upside down, so the tab of the drivecone fits into it)

The halo/reloader has a spring under the drivecone but the pulse doesn't need this, so as the guy describes on page 5 on his other thread (
http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2351613&page=5) I drilled a hole in the catch cup which fitted the tab on the bottom of the drive cone, you can see what I mean in the next pic
Drivecone fitted, without spring, this just means that there is no 'give' when the motor pulses
If you experience breaking paint maybe you could turn down the speed of the pulse (there is a speed control on the small board in the pulse, the round white thing)
