Personally using Re-Ball I have had no issues either but I am aware of a variation in different brands of re-usable balls.

It's not so much a loader issue but the sticky feel that some balls have seems to cause friction on the tray edges. Try pushing a rubber bouncy ball across a smooth surface - you will find the friction reduces after the ball is used a few times.

Balls that have been washed through seem to perform better.

k, problem with the video is the boy is dragging the bottom of the loader across that mat as he does the drop. i belive those mats are rubber backed and furry on top as you can see. now, if we go back to secondry school physics, what happens when we rub furryness against polycarbonate?? yes thats right, static electricity. WHEEEE.

so, the same thing could possibly happen with dirty reballs that are slightly furry, but they would have to be actual hairballs for that to happen. My two pence...shenanegans!!!!

Yes I have just watched it. It looks like the guy is forming a discharge route.

What is strange is that in order to sell electronic devices they must be tested to a certain level and one particular test is ESD testing or electro static discharge. And the Pulse passes this test with flying colours.

This test involves discharging a high voltage static type charge across various points of the EUT. So this is strange - I just tried it here and could not repeat it.

I need to look into it a bit further but just talking with Chris L, who the video was made for, he hasn't been able to re-create it either. He did say the guy confirmed that there was no issue with paintballs just this guys re-ball.

EMC and the related subjects is a black art - I have seen many a strange thing happen in a chamber. Fortunately I am well versed in the effects. I've seen tiptronic transimissions change gear all by themselves at 10kHz!!
