Last year was 6 events, sorta, and this year it's back to the norm of 5 events over the course of the season.

I'm surprised no one pointed out the similarity between the NPPL and PSP schedules yet. It should be interesting to see how the last three events for each league match up - if one of the leagues change their dates to not conflict with the other.

NPPL - HB - Huntington Beach - March 23th-25th

PSP - Mid-Atlantic Open – PBC Sports Park – May 3rd-6th
NPPL - Tampa - Raymond James Stadium - May 11th 13th

PSP - Chicago Open – Volunteer Park (BRAC) – June 20th-24th
NPPL - Indiannapolis - July ?

PSP - TBA – August 2nd-5th
NPPL - OC - Sept 20th-22nd (?)

Hey Andrew. So what's on your paintball agenda for the year?

Are those actual proposed dates and locations for NPPLs 3 - 5 as I didn't see them at the site. Didn't look too hard either I must admit.

Anyway, seems rather like a return to business as usual and not overly different than the last time they both ran 5 events in a season. The only one that's gonna hurt (assuming they change or schedule Cmmdr's Cup differently) is Tampa as many of the Pro teams will be competing in the NXL the week before with no time in-between. It certainly doesn't thrill me but I have made arrangements already to deal with it.
It might be interesting to see where the PSP puts their 4th event and if the NPPL event ends up closer to Orlando rather than further away.

On the rumor front word is a company backed team is looking to "find" an NXL spot for the coming season. Which may or may not mean somebody else loses out.
