Hi guys i was looking at a Proto matrix rail today and it says it has PSP and Mellinium Settings on the board, could anyone tell me what these are likely to be?

They are basically built in modes which comply with marker regulations for the PSP (Paintball Sports Promotions) league and the Millennium series. For example, on the Mill series mode the marker will be capped at 15.4bps on ramping.

EDIT: More info on the modes can be found HERE.

Should be posted in Tech area, not MLT.

PSP and Millennium modes on the Rail are ramping modes. PSP is three-shot burst after 3 trigger pulls. Millennium is 15bps ramping when you pull the trigger at a speed of 7.5 shots a second.

Millennium mode:

-Capped at 15 BPS

-Ramping can only kick in when you pull the equivalent of ROF 7,5 per second

-Ramping can kick in from the second trigger pull

-Ramp point is tested by engaging ramping, releasing the trigger and the gun can only fire 2 shots (the last pull plus 1 extra shot)

-Bouncing is not allowed (tested by lightly slapping the back of the tank and no shot can go off)

Hope this helps

Nick
