Hey,
I'm thinking of buying a Proto SLG because it's the cheapest "tournament" like gun :), It seems perfect...BUT! I've heard that it has lots of problems :/ I'd like to know some opinions :))
thanks!

Had a couple of '08 SLG. As a first marker, it's straightforward to use and service. A clamping
feedneck is essential, a pressure switch on the ASA (an OOPS) is helpful.
As with any marker, if it's not maintained, it will eventually fail.
I was happy with mine, and would recommend them.

the SLG UL has the same ergonomic grip frame as the more expensive DM series (although it is made from a composite material as opposed to being all metal). The UL frame is very comfortable to hold and it had the same DM reach trigger from the Dm9/10 series too.

For the money you will pay i would say look at the PM range. PM7 in my eyes was the best PM i shot i owed a PM8 and a PM7 and fell totaly in love with it. Wish i still had it now.

Barfoot is selling a PM7 for a v good price.

i will go with the other guys and say you are better off with the pm series either the pm7 or 8 they are both stonking markers or the pmr 08 is also a good marker i have a spec edition camo and that is a great marker too for the money but the pm 7and 8 are the daddies of the proto range i would say
