proto slg and hopper

ive gone and bought a proto slg 08 i think it is and wondering why my hopper doesnt fit for i now it might sound quite dumb but im new to all this still

Most hoppers fit most guns, have you got some pictures ? and what loader is it ?

if it is an slg 08 then it comes with a fixed (non adjustable) stove pipe feedneck with o rings in to hold the hopper in place, if that is the case then i would recomend buying an aftermarket one that has a locking lever so that it fits your hopper, the threads the slg needs will be called dye threads
