Proto SLG 08, whats it worth????

Alright guys just a quick one I'm thinking of buying a proto slg 08 for my bro, what sort of money should I expect to part with for a second hand good condition one?? Also I read that the 08 version left much to be desired, is that true? if so why?

Early 08 models had roll back issues but they have now all been fixed.

Around 70 - 90, I'd reckon.

Personally, I think the 08 slg's are better than the 09 and UL's. Mine has always shot perfectly, and I've never had any complaints other than the flimsy plastic trigger (not that you really notice it when firing).

I've always enjoyed using mine and have never really felt like it's a bad marker. Don't think I'll be getting rid of it any time soon, even with my etek.


Give it a few upgrades (Clamping feedneck,a better barrel and possibly an on/off ASA) and it'll be a great starter marker.
