Proto reflex rail - Some major issues

hi guys,
So as the title suggests, i have a 2011 reflex rail which doesnt work (Pretty pissed scince i got ripped off - being told it worked)

Anyway, I sorted some air leaks etc. But the major problem is when I shoot it, it will fire fine for a few shots maybe 20 maximum, and then it wil stop shooting and will make a tiny weeny noise, when im pulling the trigger, but nothing fires, its like a tiny puff of air or something. Also, at the same time, it is chopping loads of paint, and i shoot sterling sheild. which btw, is are like cream eggs combined with rocks. Obvously paintball sized.
Results can vary in different modes, sometimes, you will shoot for a bit, it will stop for 20 mins then, it will be fine.

Anyway, has anyone else had the same problem? Or is there a tech who could help? I could try and get a video up or something tomorrow.

hi buddy

first step is always to change the battery for a fresh good quality one, rails can be esspecially fussy with batteries

then reset the board to factory settings according to the manual (mainly the dwell and first shot drop off protection)

change the red and orange o rings on the main bolt and clean/relube bolt

if none of that works then take appart and clean/relube your high pressure reg, making sure not to over pressurise your gun (the best way to do this is toscrew your adjuster all the way in before you put it back together, then air it up and back it out untill it starts shooting then bring it to a chrono to adjust velocity)

when you say chopping do you mean breaking in the barrel or in the breach?
