Proto paint price?

Why has the price of proto paint gone up allot? I was paying £28 from my local site about 2 month back and now it's £42.95 on LIPS.

Also spoke to my local paintball shop and they also confirm that the price has gone through the roof

So i bought some proto commando (thought i'd give it ago) and 2 boxes of evil

I'm not familiar with the production of paintballs, but could it be because of the rising oil prices?

Paintballs shouldn't contain oil as they should be full biodegradable.

Also if that was the case wouldn't all paintballs go up at the same time?

I have heard that several large producers were heavily discounting their paint and this has now stopped.

The rise in oil prices may relate to shipping rates increasing

Might be worth trying BZ, had good service and proto paint from them in the past.

The same stuff is £34.95 a box on JustPaintball... £32.95 on BZ.

Yea thats there price on the sites at the moment. The problem is the guy i normaly buy off has just run out and he said his next order has pushed the price up due to the cost to him going up. So you should be seeing there prices go up soon

PEG is the main ingredient for fill in paintballs and is indeed produced from oil.

could be something to do with Dye releasing its new paint commando thus altering the price of proto for the shops. If you want the best paint from the best place you have to give BZ a ring
